Size Guide
We strive to make your choice as easy as possible. There are many different options to consider when it comes to bed linen. International sizes and extra length mean that "one size fits all" is no longer applicable. That's why we sell duvet and pillow covers separately, allowing you to mix and match according to your preferences. If you need other sizes or custom designs, we also take special orders. Just contact us at info@geismars.dk or call +45 33 33 08 30.
Bed Linen

Cotton shrinks differently in length and width. To avoid bedding shrinking too much and becoming too small over time, we have accounted for shrinkage in all sizes. You should wash your bed linen before using it for the first time. After 2-3 washes, the bed linen will reach its correct size.

Duvet Covers

Geismars duvet covers are available in the following standard sizes:

  • Single duvet: 140 x 200 cm
  • Single duvet with extra length: 140 x 220 cm
  • Double duvet: 200 x 220 cm
  • Double duvet with extra width: 240 x 220 cm

Pillow Covers

Geismars pillow covers are available in the following standard sizes:

  • Square (standard Danish size): 63 x 60 cm
  • Rectangle (international size): 70 x 50 cm

International Sizes

In addition to the Danish standard sizes, we also stock bed linen in several international sizes, including Swedish, German, and American/British sizes. If you cannot find the size you need, feel free to contact us at info@geismars.dk. We also make custom-made bed linen to specific measurements.

Children's Bed Linen

Geismars children's bed linen follows Danish standard sizes:

  • Baby duvet cover: 70 x 100 cm
  • Junior duvet cover: 100 x 140 cm
  • Baby and junior pillow cover: 45 x 40 cm

Loungewear & Sleepwear

Geismars produces nightwear, loungewear, and boxershorts in the same luxurious fabrics as our bed linen. Nightwear should never be too tight, so we recommend the following:

  • Choose your size based on the size you normally wear in regular clothes.
  • If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one. Too-tight nightwear will feel uncomfortable while sleeping.
  • Nightshirts are unisex. However, you should still choose the size you normally wear in regular clothing.
  • Children’s sizes are intended as a guideline and are based on age.
